Sports & Exercise Science

EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF SPORTS & EXERCISE SCIENCE

European Publication of Sports & Exercise Science is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes unique research contributions with significant worldwide impact. It offers papers in all fields of sports and exercises science. The journal's primary goal is to promote the publication of multidisciplinary research in the disciplines of sports science and sports medicine.

The Policy of Journal:

All of Scholars Research Library's journals are published in full open access, making them readily available to the scientific community. The full text of publications published in Scholars Research Library Journals is freely and unrestrictedly accessible to researchers; conversely, readers can view the published articles without a login or password. It increases the visibility, accessibility, and citations of the author's study.

Exercise and Sports Science Overview

Exercise and Sports Sciences is an interdisciplinary area that investigates the complex structure of human movement and how the body reacts to short- and long-term physical activity, such as that involved in regular fitness routines, leisure pursuits, and elite sports. Strength and conditioning, biomechanics, sport and exercise psychology, exercise physiology, nutrition, athletic training, and injury prevention are just a few of the numerous fields that make up exercise science. Sport and physical activity are known to improve health and performance from cellular to whole-body levels. Sports science is a field of study that examines how the healthy human body functions during exercise. Anatomy, biomechanics, biochemistry, and biokinetics are all historically included in the study of sports science, as are exercise physiology, psychology, and sports psychology. With the increased emphasis on attaining the greatest results in sports, sports scientists and performance consultants are in more demand and have more jobs available. Through the scientific study of sport, scientists have gained a better understanding of how the human body responds to many stimuli, including physical activity, training, various surroundings, and many more.

Research into Sports Science

Universities or specialized research facilities conduct a sizable percentage of sports science research. With many institutions now providing undergraduate, postgraduate, and remote learning degrees in the field, higher education degrees in sports science or human physiology are also rising in popularity. Graduates in these fields may find employment as physical education teachers, dieticians or nutritionists, performance analysts, sports coaches, or sports therapists. They may also find employment as fitness center managers, sports administrators, strength and conditioning specialists, or retail managers of sporting goods stores. Graduates may also be in a good position to pursue additional education to get certifications as physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, research scientists, and sports medicine physicians.

Information on the aging body may be found in sports science as well. Although many older persons do not exercise enough to preserve these benefits, they are aware of the advantages of exercise. Sports science offers a way for elderly adults to achieve more physical proficiency without concentrating on doing so for anti-aging reasons. Additionally, elderly persons can benefit from sports science by avoiding falls and being better able to complete everyday duties on their own.

Sports science is an interdisciplinary study of important scientific fields.....

"Sports science is a multidisciplinary discipline that studies how to improve human performance. It covers the information, techniques, and applications of the many subfields of human movement studies, such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, motor development, exercise psychology, and sports psychology, as well as how these fields interact. Sports scientists are qualified professionals that help athletes perform at their best on the field. They review coaching, training, competition, and rehabilitation methods at all levels and in all sports through evaluation, research, assessment, and advice. In order to learn more about the aging body, sports science may also be helpful. Although many older persons do not exercise to the level required to retain these benefits, older adults are aware of the advantages of exercise. With the use of sports science, elderly individuals can regain more athletic proficiency without concentrating on doing so to delay the aging process. Another way that sports science can assist the elderly is by preventing falls and enhancing their independence in performing daily duties.
